  • Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep - Borderlands 2 DLC #4. Tina is one of the best characters in the game and, as this is the final DLC for Borderlands 2 (maybe.
  • 25 June 2013 Everything's different but nothing's changed: that's the reassuring message Borderlands 2 is sending with Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon's Keep.

Borderlands' sense of humor has always been a celebration of geek culture. It's a world full of allusions that are somehow equal parts reverence and satire, and is perhaps as well known for that as it is for its gun variety, psycho goons, and over the top freeze frame character introductions. The latest DLC, Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, is no exception to that rule. You'll laugh, you'll cry, and you'll do morally questionable things like forcefully intoxicate dwarves in order to crush them and steal the beard-hair from their cold, dead bodies. You're going to have a wicked good time playing this, and for a good 10 to 20 hours at that.

As a vault hunter you've saved the world twice over now, and yet, as impossible as it seems, life somehow still goes on in the Borderlands. The villains have been vanquished, but so have many friends - including some that were very dear to our favorite preteen psychopath, Tina. In true geek fashion, Tina is dealing with her grief by turning to the one place she knows she can hide from a truth that she's not yet ready to face: Her imagination. Who hasn't been there? And so our plucky survivors trade guns for dice and set off to start their first campaign of Bunkers & Badasses. This of course makes Tina the Bunker Master, or B.M, a title only to be invoked in the most dire of circumstances.

Your journey starts by drifting into the Flamerock Refuge Docks, a land blighted by an evil and suspiciously handsome sorcerer. The sorcerer's tower looms menacingly over the small local village, and it's your quest to defeat him and restore peace to the land. Your adventure will be a veritable theme park of fantasy references ranging from Lord of the Rings to World of Warcraft as you set out to rescue the ubiquitous kidnapped princess. Ordinarily such a derivative plotline might feel cliché, but the game is self aware enough to make it feel like an inside joke, turning what could have been boring into something quite funny instead.

You'll encounter a host of new warriors and weapons to mow them down with, though the new mix of weapons isn't anything to write home about. Orcs, dragons and all manner of classic undead minions will slink out from the shadows to ambush you in force. Some of them will spring from unexpected places, like the Mimic that resembles a chest until you try to loot it: The worst nightmare of someone hooked on that box opening kick. It's similar to the main game's loot midgets, but slightly more terrifying as the container itself morphs into a creature resembling the classic 80's version of The Thing.

Borderlands 2 Tiny Tina's Assault On Dragon's Keep Walkthrough Part 9 – A Game of Games
Head on out of the Mines of Avarice and into Hatred's Shadow. Just past the entrance into Hatred's Shadow you will find some Vending Machines so you can clear inventory and restock on ammo as needed. After that head on out of the mines and back into the sun. Head on out and over to the left. Tina talks of your character thinking about what to spend their reward money on. Head on up the slope into Throgmuk's Precipice.
Start on through. This path has an Orc village close to its base so you have numerous foes to deal with. Mostly Hirelings and the occasional warrior. As you fight your way on through and get closer to the castle the Handsome Sorcerer will catapult in more Orcs for you to fight. This will be happening as you close on the outer walls of the Castle. Kill them off then run on in.
This leads to the first area of the castle: The Pit. Defeat the few regular orcs then you need to take on a Badass Orc Warlord. Take out the Warlord as soon as you can. He can level himself and the surrounding Orcs up with Shouts. This makes all them that much harder to kill so the Warlord should be the first target. Wipe out the remaining Orcs after that and head along the path toward the castle.
Turn to the right and start across the stone bridge that sits there. You will find more Orcs and some Knights to deal with. Throw out some Corrosive-Type or Explosive-Type damage to have at everything. Kill them off and enter the Archway in front of you. More Knights will drop down from above. You can either fight them or break off to the right from the archway and head on up the stairs you see there.
Head up the stairs to the first landing. There you will find more chests to loot but also one of the barrel totting Orcs. Loot the landing then continue on up the stairs toward the top. The next landing, just below the top of the stairs, has more Knights for you to deal with. Once again, use Corrosive-Type weaponry on them to wreck their days quickly. Go up to the landing above it to trigger some Bowmen. Take them out then head to the North to the top of the ramparts. This will get you into the “Nefarious Battlement”.
Keep going across the Battlement and deal with the Knights that are attacking you. There is a good number of Knights to deal with and at least 2 Badasses in the area: An Archer and a Knight. Fight your way to the far end of the battlement to the West.
After you get into the next building be wary as there is a Sorcerer inside, likely a badass. Kill it and then turn your attention toward the chests at the base of the stairs after the battlement. One of the big chests is a Mimic and a strong one so be on guard for it and blast it away after you try to open it. Keep on going to the East after that and over to the next section of the battlement to the North.
As you cross into the next area you have a downward staircase and more Knights waiting for you. Ki9ll them off and look for the first door going to the West. Head into there to get a bit closer to the Keep itself. This leads to a room with a small pool in it. From there you will want to carefully fight your way on through. The careful part is because there are 2 Badass enemies in this area for you to deal with. Go through after the fight and you will be at Horizon's End.
